Louis Bell built Praxibel out of a simple observation: capable educators go quiet in the moments that matter, not because they lack knowledge, but because nobody ever gave them the words. He's spent two decades handing them over.
Louis started in Australian centres in 2003. Four of those years were as a kindergarten teacher; most of the rest were spent at The Avenue Children's Centre & Kindergarten, where he still teaches — and where, year after year, he watched the same thing happen. A graduate arrives knowing the theory cold. An internationally trained educator arrives with years of experience. Three weeks in, both go quiet at pick-up, freeze when a child hits, and avoid the parent with the complaint.
Not a knowledge problem. A words problem. And the leaders who could see it happening had no graceful way to help — "you're struggling" lands like a warning, however kindly it's meant.
Praxibel is his answer to both halves of that: practical, on-your-feet PD that gives educators the sentences, delivered as team learning so the person who needs it is never singled out.
