Praxibel was born from more than twenty-two years working with children, families and educators in early childhood education and care.
As an experienced educator, I kept noticing the same thing. Passionate people entered our profession with qualifications, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a difference — but many lacked confidence in the practical realities of everyday practice.
I've always been a strong communicator, and I naturally found myself supporting, influencing and mentoring fellow educators. I encouraged them not just to communicate, but to find their own style and their own voice — because confident communication is one of the most important skills an educator can develop.
I believe in leading by example. Whether I'm designing stimulating play spaces, demonstrating communication techniques, guiding behaviour or turning everyday moments into learning, I've found real joy in sharing what I've learnt and watching other educators grow in confidence and capability.
It led me to a simple realisation: qualifications provide essential foundations, but confidence develops through guided practice and experience.
I created The Confident Educator — the program at the heart of Praxibel — to share that practical knowledge and make it accessible to other educators. My goal is simple: to help educators feel more confident, capable and prepared for the realities of working with children.
